The violoncello featured on the pages of this website is a Carlo Giuseppe Testore, c.1694.

This cello was lovingly owned for over fifty years by Australian cellist Kathleen Tuohy (1914-2002), and is currently owned by her granddaughter, Australian violinist Esmeralda Tintner.

The cellist still well remembers one of her earliest competitions, which she won at 14 in her home town, Perth.
